Much of the Christian symbolism is the basis andThere are some similarities with the stories of the Bible. Other aspects of symbolism are connected to common lines of the history of the traditional fairy tale.

The colors white, red and black

The colors presented at the beginning of history (the skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, hair as black as Ebony offer) direct indication that Snow White is a "Coming of Age" story. White stands for innocence (of birth), red stand for life and passion, while black represents death. The story of SnowWhite starts with Snow White), a girl in the original version, and a rather naive young woman in the Disney version (the part of white. Learn the period through the film (Red Phase), experience, and death (in sleep, as state, the phase of black).

No mother

The absence of the biological mother can introduce the role of the narrator evil stepmother. The evil stepmother is a common element in many fairy tales: Snow White, Cinderella,Hansel and Gretel. The absence of a mother is all too common, because if a parent were present, who have a series of events that could affect the story in which there is the mother. People have often been accused of Walt Disney as an advocate of mothers with no history (it's true that many Disney movies are not the mothers), but recreated the classic Disney stories where the mother was dead already part of the development of history. This element of the narrative seeks to involveReader friendly and does very well.

The Apple poison

This is all the way back to the biblical reference of the apple, Eve (the evil of the serpent / Satan), has been offered, Bull. The evil queen offers Snow White the apple in the same way. Snow White knows not to talk to strangers, but he does anyway, and you pay for this, by mistake, under the spell.

The meaning of seven:

The Seven Deadly Sins:

The Seven Deadly Sins arerepresented in the story of Snow White, but not in the form of the seven dwarfs.

Envy: The Queen (again)

The seven deadly sins are opposed to the seven holy virtues: humility, chastity, moderation, love, diligence, patience, kindness. All these areCharacteristics of Snow White.

Resurrection

Snow White dies and comes back to life. This certainly parallels the death and resurrection of Jesus from the Bible.

Washing hands

The part of the story, calls white snow, that the Dwarfs could wash, the cleansing of baptism is. Once the dwarfs have washed, they are the people who seem to have a new purpose in life, except for Grumpy, the protests. Grumpy has undergone a transformationBut while the film from a skeptic into a dwarf who is very devoted to Snow White.

The work ethic:

Snow White cleans the small house, without asking, and cooks without being invited. The seven dwarfs are also hard at work in the mines (Hey Ho ...).
