These are the days of the computer and you hardly find kids playing with toys any more. They would rather prefer playing on the computer games that they can download via the internet. With even the schools teaching the kids the basics in computers it is no difficult task for them to play these online games and they start doing this from a very early age. Some of these online games are extremely educative and help the children with their hand eye co-ordination.

For example Ben 10 is a cartoon network show that tells the story of a boy called Ben who changes his form to various alien characters in order to fight evil.
Another game that has caught the frenzy of the kids is the Avatar games especially after the release of the movie Avatar. These games can be downloaded from various sites for a cost. Some sites even allow you to play the games for free till a certain level.
Released in December 2009, the Avatar game like the movies is set in the 22nd century on an alien planet known as Pandora, which has a poisonous atmosphere to human beings. So in the movie they create Avatars who are a mix of the humans and the Navis, the natives of Pandora. Even in the game you are taken to the planet called Pandora where you can choose to play either an Avatar or a Navi. This choice will decide the what route you will take in the game that has two different game plays based on which character you choose to become.
The animation in these games so good that the children get the feeling that everything they are doing in the game is so real, thanks to the ever improving technology that is ever innovative. The child is able to utilize and modify various weapons and can create their own characters that gain skills as they move forward in the game through the exciting foliage of the jungles with unfamiliar plants that really shock you with what they can do.
The Avatar is available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo, Wii and of course on the PC.
